Have the Thursday games always been on ESPN+? I thought the whole thing was on NBCSN/Bally/Comcast/whatever until Sunday in the past.

What's cookin?

Whenever I see these things, I'm always struck by what a likeable guy Matt Painter is (even though he coaches the enemy!). And what a dour sourpuss the Franimal is. 

BTW, I chuckled when Painter said, "I smoke." ... My brother went to PU and though is a few years older than Painter, has friends that said that as a student, Painter did, in fact, like to smoke (if you catch my drift -- and I know you do.)

Imagine you're a coach, and your team just made 2 free throws to go up 6 with 11 seconds left. You call timeout, cuz it's 2022 and that's what coaches do now. What are you telling your players? Don't foul? Play defense? Don't let them score? Anyone up for pizza after the game? 

 

Seriously, stop over-coaching and just let the game end.

And then you have Penn State's coach, calling timeout with 3 seconds left, down 5. Probably the good ol' "teaching moment" in game #27. 

 

Don't mind me; it's been a rough season and excessive timeouts are the clouds I'm choosing to yell at.

SMU has shot 34 free throws, making 29.  Only shooting 33% from the field.

Andy Enfield at Maryland would be a huge upgrade for them.  He was actually on my short list of candidates last year, as I think he's a pretty solid coach who flies somewhat under the radar because he's on the west coast.

I feel like he would be turned off by the B1G though.
