RaceToTheTop Posted February 12, 2022 Posted February 12, 2022 Iowa State in real trouble at home in OT against Kansas State. Certainly a team 3-9 in conference has to be considered on the wrong side of the bubble. Quote

If they keep losing it will work itself out but the terrible conference record wouldn’t keep them automatically out Quote

If it is it’s to listen to Hummel call the game because I don’t want to listen to some of the others that are available HoosierAloha and Hovadipo 2 Quote

Let's say they win three of their last six and then are one and out in the conference tournament. Wouldn't losing 8 of the last 11 be a factor? For the record, I have them still in at the moment (41st overall, 11 seed) when I put in the results from today a couple of hours ago. I am personally of the opinion that the overall record is the important factor, not when they occurred but I thought that was something that the committee looked at. That said, if they do finish last in the conference they are probably out because that would mean they continued to lose. Quote

They stopped doing that 10 or more years ago. A win in November means just as much as a win in March. Conference records are not on a team sheet RaceToTheTop 1 Quote
