Its a shame we can't see Windler and Morant both in the tourney. Two guys that are special and could pull off a few upsets.

Lunardi says Belmont will make it in with a loss so still a possibility you could see it. I disagree with Joe. I’m going to break their resume down more closely tomorrow to get a better picture

Campbell lost tonight. They were the 1 seed in the Big South. I really wanted to see Clemons in the tournament. He will have to settle for the NIT

I THINK it was said in this or another thread, but I can’t find it...does Belmont or Murray have a better shot at an at large bid by losing their tourney today? Both have better NETs and RPIs than IU but TERRIBLE strength of schedules

I’m not really sure. Neither team has impressive out of conference wins.

I’m under the impression that we need to root for Belmont. Murray State doesn’t have the resumé to be an at-large but Belmont could.

Murray St hasn’t beaten a top 100 team all year. No chance they will get an at-large. Belmont has the better chance. They would still be sweating it on Sunday. I still have them out if they lose but after reviewing their team sheet more this morning it’s closer then I originally viewed it

I want both teams in but highly doubt it as you mentioned. I've seen enough of teams like St Marys, TCU, NC State, Bama, Florida, Arizona St. to know they aren't very good teams and I think we will pass most of them to get an at-large if we just take care of business.

Well said. Watching Murray State last night they pass the eye test. They are fun to watch. Would much rather have them instead of Arizona State. However, one has a win over Kansas and the other doesn’t.

They passed the eye test? I think Murray State would get blown out by most of the other teams on the bubble. Jacksonville State got layup after layup when they realized they couldn’t be stopped in the lane. Murray State got bailed out when Jacksonville didn’t close out to a shooter for a quick 6 points late in the second half.
