His output has not been what I expected-----Hanner having a similar season so far.

 

Hanner has been considerably better than Goodluck this year, especially lately.

You don't have to sell me on Alford.

 

I loved Alford as a player---I was at IU when he led us to the championship. He was nothing but net and worked as hard as anyone I ever saw fighting through screens!

 

My point is ---he was a better player then a coach.  As a coach---he has had his share of problems and average seasons---and I did not like the way he handled the Pierce situation at Iowa.  My opinion is he is not IU's answer as Coach.

 

I will always support him and respect him as one of the all-time greats to play for IU!

It's a name I've seen, but not often.  I talk about Crean's history being mediocre, but Alford's is worse.

let's get the man his due, as a player at IU and forget the rest...

 

dude is the leading 3 point shooter for a single season, and led IU to it's last NCAA Championship...
