Didn't really feel that was the job for him. Kind of had Porter Moser written all over it. But he's gonna do as well as admissions will allow.

Seems like he wanted to be back in Indiana and I remember an article about PSU’s NIL being awful.  I agree ND’s not an easy place to coach, though.

He said not playing hard would get you a seat on the bench; never mentioned shooting terribly.           :)

I get that, but I find it hard to take a guy seriously on playing time when his son hasn’t shot a lick and doesn’t add rebounding or passing seems to get a free pass.

In basketball?  Seems like that is an easy place to coach to me.  They really have had only 3 head coaches in my lifetime and I am 56.

It does seem sorta hypocritical.

I should’ve said “tough place to win.”

If you want to make the tourney half the time and still stick around 20 years, then it isn’t a bad gig. That was basically Brey.

Seton Hall is such a team of junkyard dogs. Not especially talented by recruiting metrics but a hard nosed mentality and length.

Fun team to watch. Hurley would not take this loss well lol. Earlier in the week he said he would donate to SHU's NIL one day when he was out of the Big East. UConn is tough. They are not fading at all. Impressive effort by SHU so far.
