Kentucky needed that game.    Without it they have 0 chance at an at-large bid this year.   With a win against Texas they would of had a fighting chance of getting one if they would of gotten hot.   Small chance but still something to play for now they will have to win the sec tourney if that still happens

For sure UK needed that game, but if it had been played their chances of winning were so so small.

I though Kentucky played pretty well against Bama this week. And, Bama was terrible—they couldn’t hit an open 3 at all.

Bama still won by 11.

As Bill Parcells said “You are what your record says you are.” And UK is 5-10.

Iowa/Illinois tonight.  Should be a good one.  The last couple years this game has been really chippy.  Kind of been fun to watch the hatred between the 2.   Fran throwing his hands in the air and walking away  in handshake line last year was great

Refs just stole 2 points from Iowa. Cockburn blocks a layup attempt by Wieskamp, who immediately puts it back in for 2 while the officials blow the whistle for a goal tend. They then head to the monitor and overturn the call, negating everything that happened afterward.

A loaded day full of basketball today.  First Saturday off work in a while so I’m looking forward to it.    Most important game of the day starts at 11.  My 7 year old daughters first game of the year

Definitely enjoy what we can.   Her school league cancelled all year and my 9 year old sons school league cancelled league except for a travel team.  So he decided he didn’t want to play in the Church league my daughter is playing in.   He has practice all winter forbid travel  baseball team.
