If we drew up a list of the absolute least appropriate candidates for this job, Hardaway could arguably be #1. But, Jesus, Memphis’ history is just the worst. Dana Kirk going to prison. Larry Finch buying every kid in Memphis and losing anyway. Tic Price nailing an 18yo student. Cal and Derrick Rose. Now Penny. The whole Baskerville Holmes thing. Those are off the top of my head, I’m sure I’m missing another fun guy or 2. It just never stops. Maybe the nastiest program in the country.

I got 9 in, and Cincinnati has an outside shot if they run the regular season table and win a couple in the conf tourney.

I think the big east sent 11 once.

ACC has done 9 a couple times. 
B1G sent 8 once i know, but they were all done by the second weekend so we don’t talk about it lol
