Can't see any logic to having Penn State in and IU out.  Penn State has three losses -- two at home -- to teams not in your top 25 and zero wins against teams in your top 25.  Two of IU's losses are to teams you have ranked 3 and 5 and IU has a road win at a team you have ranked 15th.

He seems to have something against IU because he is the only one not to have us in the top 25

I don't think he guages IU the same way he does other teams.  Then again, he's complained about teams with losing conference records making the tournament and he 6 Big 12 teams in the top 22.

I disregarded his rankings pretty quickly. He's either biased against IU or he's so set on appearing unbiased on regards to IU that he over emphasizes the bad and under values the positives.

UConn losing to Xavier barely hurt them but IU beating Xavier doesn't really help them.

Cool story bro. I took IU out weeks ago after getting destroyed by Kansas. Which clearly isn't just a "because they played at Kansas" deal.

Being angry at IU for not being as good as you hoped they would be is no reason to have them unranked right now.

Polls are mostly a snapshot of who the person voting feels is the 25 best teams at that point in time not necessarily the top 25 best resumes.   If someone had them low to begin with and they played terrible after that even against top level teams then for some people that would cause them to drop like some AP people have done to them just not enough of them to drop them out.

Bingo. I don't think many get how these Top 25s work.

'cool story bro' is the equivalent of 'I have no logical comeback'.

And the reason Penn State moved in after beating nobody was what?  Beating an unranked Iowa team by 4 at home?  Or was it the 9 point win against Quinnipiac that did it?

Anyone reading your posts in this forum knows that you aren't a fair judge of Indiana.

That isn't the reason. More of the fact I had them at 22, they got destroyed by Kansas, they moved out, Iowa State and Illinois moved ahead of them and Miami, Kansas State and Marquette joined the Top 25 from 23-25.

61 voters in the AP poll.....not a single one has Penn State in their top 25.  Sorry you think it's a good take.

PSU is on a 5 game winning streak with a dominating win over Illinois and just beat Iowa. So they d been moving up.

You don't consider Illinois or Iowa to be top 25 and the other 'impressive' wins were Canisius, Quinnipiac, and Delaware State.

IU is in the top 25 of 59 of 61 poll voters.  The two voters who don't have IU in the top 25 have what the poll tracker lists as a ton of 'extreme picks' -- picks that are 5 or more spots from the teams actual overall vote.  One of them has 9 of his 25 teams as extreme picks -- including the nugget that Charleston should be ranked 14th and 2 spots ahead of Gonzaga.  The other guy has 8 of his 25 teams as extreme picks.

Okay cool. 61 AP voters. Only two have IU out. Am I supposed to have the exact same opinion as everyone else? Does Penn State belong? Hell I don't know. Does Indiana? Maybe, maybe not. Does Illinois? Maybe. I don't know. Does Kentucky? Maybe. Why does it hurt your feelings that Indiana isn't in my poll?
