I always thought Willard teams were really tough and thought he might be a problem at Maryland. Didn’t necessarily expect it this soon, but they’re pretty impressive.

Turgeon teams were as soft as oatmeal cotton ball marshmallow pillow clouds.

Have to draw a line somewhere. Probably not too much longer and players will be transferring after 1st semester and playing with new team 2nd. I'm all for players having options but like many things I believe this problem has been over-corrected. Just one not important guy's opinion.

If I'm the coach, a player who enters the portal doesn't play another minute for me and is no longer a part of my team. At that point a kid who is committed to my to my program gets those minutes. I get that this is a new landscape, but loyalty should still count for something and be rewarded.

For me would depend on the reason. Has he decided to pursue a degree that my school doesn’t offer. Does he need to be closer to family. Is his SO moving and he’s going to follow them.  Life isn’t black and white and very rarely is our school/job/team really the most important thing

I understand all that and context does matter. But, painting with a broad stroke, in most situations a kid who wants out would be out on my team.
