WayneFleekHoosier Posted March 4, 2022 Posted March 4, 2022 Andy Enfield at Maryland would be a huge upgrade for them. He was actually on my short list of candidates last year, as I think he's a pretty solid coach who flies somewhat under the radar because he's on the west coast. I feel like he would be turned off by the B1G though.Odds Maryland gets it right and yet another B1G team surpasses Indiana on the hierarchy? 80/20. Maryland willing to try to dance the dance. Crummy atmosphere but they don’t care. Sent from my iPad using BtownBanners mobile app Quote

IU hasn’t been over .500 in the B1G in 6 years the longest current streak of any B1G team. WayneFleekHoosier 1 Quote

True. But we amazingly surpassed them this year and I’ll count any Hoosier victory I can because I know they’ll usurp us again soon. Sent from my iPad using BtownBanners mobile app Quote

RaceToTheTop Posted March 4, 2022 Posted March 4, 2022 Hell, maybe Iowa is the Big Ten team best constructed to make a tournament run this year. They don't count on the Big Ten mugging defense (mostly beacuse they don't play much D) plus the offense always shows up. hoosierbgh 1 Quote

The reason for the drought is that Indiana has been historically down. Indiana 5 all the other B1G teams 5. As Indiana goes, so goes the Big Ten. thebigweave 1 Quote

RaceToTheTop Posted March 4, 2022 Posted March 4, 2022 Iowa up 7 wiht one minute left. Iowa's experience simply too much for Michigan. Quote
Uspshoosier Posted March 4, 2022 Posted March 4, 2022 Keegan will be in the league next year while Kris will be averaging 20 for Iowa Indiana muskie 1 Quote
RaceToTheTop Posted March 4, 2022 Posted March 4, 2022 I believe that limits the potential matchup for IU in the BTT to the 8/9 game to either Michigan or Michigan State. The only way it would be Michigan State would be if the Spartans lost at home to Maryland and Michigan won at Ohio State. So the likely matchup is Michigan/Indiana. Quote
