Uspshoosier Posted December 17, 2021 Posted December 17, 2021 East Carolina up 3 on Liberty at half in the Hall of Fame Shootout Quote
Uspshoosier Posted December 17, 2021 Posted December 17, 2021 Seton Hall will start out conference play 0-1 and St Johns 1-0 after their game this Monday got cancelled. Forfeits won’t affect a tournament resume in the eyes of the committee but will possibly affect their conference standings and seeding within the conference Quote
Uspshoosier Posted December 17, 2021 Posted December 17, 2021 Virginia Tech took St Bonaventure to the woodshed. Tech up 34 with 9 min to go. ACC needed that one and I will be curious on how far down the NET the Bonnie’s fall after this beat down Quote

Still probably the A-10 best chance for an at-large bid. Quote

IUFootballHappyHappyJoyJoy Posted December 18, 2021 Posted December 18, 2021 IUPUI lost to Chicago State the other night. Their only win was against D-III Spalding, and will probably be the only win this season. In my opinion, they're a strong contender for the worst team in the country. They lost their best players from last season and the only good talent they have is a seventh-year senior. Luckily for them, IUPUI has never had any interest in athletics as a motivation to bring in students, and the Natatorium is mostly for Olympic events, so this ineptitude will, as usual, go under the radar, but it remains a source of frustration to me. RaceToTheTop Posted December 18, 2021 Posted December 18, 2021 St.John's Pitt tied with 10 seconds left. Pitt ball. Quote
RaceToTheTop Posted December 18, 2021 Posted December 18, 2021 Horrible, horrible defense by St John's on the last position. Pitt basket with 0.4 seconds left wins it. Quote

Sister in-law is a golfer at IUPUI. But I think the lower focus is kinda part of why she went there over some other places. That and she's in a bigger city which she likes and only 2 hours away from her nephew. Quote

For some people, that is a huge benefit, and I am eternally grateful for their services in the health industry (it's one of the few places you can get decent dental services like root canals and crowns that won't break the bank if you're on a low income), but I get slighted whenever Horizon League "purists" keep calling them "Ooey-Pooey" and get miffed about having to put up with IUPUI in their league.
