When I see the word shrink I took it as a spot being taken from a bubble by a bid stealer. In nc state game and IU game isn’t going to take a spot from the bubble teams like an unlikely bid stealer team

So Gonzaga looks like a grade school team against someone they beat by 48 earlier in the year. They were essentially missing wide open 3s and weakly contested layups the entire second half. Of course when this can’t happen it does lol. I know who I’m not picking to win it all

Their only other win against a tournament team came against Washington, whos projected a 9 seed, by two points. They beat up on a bunch of high school teams all winter and that earns them the number one ranking and a surefire No. 1 seed?? Even after not even winning their conference championship. I don’t really understand it, they’ve played no one, won’t get past the sweet 16.

Definitely not safe but I still have them in. Depending on how many more bid stealers are out there this week. If no more I would feel better for the winner but if there are more I would recommend winning that second game.
Florida was my last team in so they are out for now. I need to look at Zags resume more closely tonight because at first I thought they were a lock for a 1 seed now I’m not so sure so I need to break it down closer...or get some sleep

Here's my "hot take": Gonzaga should never be higher than a 3 seed based on the crap conference they play in. You can't beat up on the Helen Keller Directional Academies all year and then claim a #1 seed.

Agreed. They would have to play the #1 OoC schedule and sweep it for me to even consider them deserving of a #1

Really excited about the big game tomorrow. As a fan, nothing beats getting excited for a big game. I joined this board during Crean's final days. In the two years there really haven't been a lot of "big" games. (Duke, Michigan State, Louisville to name some..). I love talking about recruits but it is so much better to talk about the current team and a possible tournament run. I really hope they give us something to talk about in these next few weeks and in the future!
