Tidbit #1:  North Carolina announced that freshman guard Jalek Felton has been suspended from the University and is not currently eligible to participate in any University activities.The school declined further comment citing federal privacy laws.The West Columbia, S.C., native has played in all of the first 22 games this season. He is averaging 2.9 points and 1.6 assists per game.

{Probably went to an actual class and that's his penalty for doing so!}

 

Tidbit #2:  Miami sophomore guard Bruce Brown Jr. will undergo surgery Thursday after sustaining a left-foot injury Monday in practice, the school announced Tuesday. He’s expected to be out for six weeks.Brown is the second-leading scorer for the Hurricanes averaging 11.4 points per game. He also leads the team in rebounds (7.1), assists (4.0), and steals (1.7).Miami (15-5, 4-4 ACC) is coming off a 103-94 overtime loss at Florida State on Jan. 27. The Hurricanes next matchup will be at home against Pittsburgh on Wednesday.In the latest ESPN mock draft, Brown is projected to go 20th overall to the Washington Wizards.

Lol end of game execution by the vandy Player. Up 2 and foul. That’s on the coach. Remember last NCAA tournament when Fischer Davis fouled northwestern when vandy was up 1 with 20 sec left. Lol Kentucky forces OT
