Walking Boot of Doom Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 Wow. So #2 and #4 go down on the road today. And Kentucky barely has scrapped by all season. Gonna be another interesting year in conference play throughout the NCAA. Quote

I'm surprised how they've played, but they've had to play OSU, UM, Purdue and Michigan so far. Not that easy of a start. Quote

WayneFleekHoosier Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 McIntosh for NW doing excellent! He'll be a thorn for 4 years. 18/5/5 in today's loss @MSU ALASKA HOOSIER 1 Quote
Walking Boot of Doom Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 true. but some of those were at home... right? Only OSU. So it's understandable, but I still would've expected them to pull off the Purdue or Michigan win based on the season I expected them to have. ou812dude 1 Quote
Walking Boot of Doom Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 Since deleted, but hilarious. UW's social media guy is always on point, but he might have gotten in trouble for this one. @BadgerMBB: Who invited Rutgers anyway? Kidding (kind of). ou812dude and WayneFleekHoosier 2 Quote

IU really does have a chance to sneak into the top tier... Walking Boot of Doom 1 Quote
WayneFleekHoosier Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 So glad Rutgers and Nebraska hold Home court wins today. UW shots 5-21 from 3. Gotta hit shots to win on the road in the B1G. Typical year in the B1G in that sense. Quote
WayneFleekHoosier Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 The Journey is back on BTN. Tonight focused on Trimble, Kaminsky, and Nebraska. Great show! Looking forward to some Hoosier love. Trimble credits Juan Dixon for helping getting him to Maryland. Hoosier fans "may" remember Juan. I know I do! southsidehoosier, BubbleKnuts, ALASKA HOOSIER and 1 other 4 Quote
OliviaPope40 Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 NW surprised me today when I watched them against Butler I didn't think they would be that good. Quote

Walking Boot of Doom Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 All today says is, just like last year, get in the tourney, and anything can happen. Parity is at an all time high throughout college basketball. Quote
colonel06 Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 I hope UK loses all if their games this year! :-) Never happen of course. However, the 2 OT wins in a row I think is wearing evenly on the 1st and 2nd platoons! With Duke losing today you wonder what night and by whom the Cats will get knocked off. Quote
colonel06 Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 It's weird but I actually haven't even thought about the actual game itself in the past 4 days. Screw Wisconsin, they'll blow it Screw UK, they'll blow it harder Screw Purdue, they've been blowing it for decades Painter has the Purdue playing better and better it seems. The 7 footer Haas is strong for a freshman and is starting to come on strong. Quote
rebelhoosier848891 Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 Wild day in college BBall. I was shocked to see Rutgers beat Wiscy-----but then learned Kaminsky did not play due to concussion-like symptoms and Jackson missed most of the second half with a injury. So the loss was with an asterisk ----but it was a loss all the same. WayneFleekHoosier 1 Quote
rebelhoosier848891 Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 Watching Wiscy against Duke during the challenge---you could see that as soon as a couple key players got in foul trouble---Wiscy had trouble with their depth and it showed again today. Outside of Jackson---Wiscy doesn't have great ball handlers. Outside of Kaminsky and Jackson--they have very few players who can create their own shot. Wiscy is vulnerable and I hope IU can take advantage of some of their weaknesses. jonz44 1 Quote
