My man Venky Jois was 15-21 for 38 points tonight. Can we snag that dude as a graduate transfer. Damn!

Tyler Harvey 9-15 for 23 points. Those dudes are good.

Still too early to tell---but that EWU loss MAY end up not being that bad of a loss.

They are a good team.

Tuesday night is loaded

Minnesota vs Wake Forest 7 -----Minnesota
Pitt vs Indiana 7--------------------IU
Syracuse vs Michigan 7:30-------Michigan
Illinois vs Miami 9-----------------Miami???
NC St vs Purdue 9----------------NC ST???
Ohio st vs Louisville 9:30---------Louisville

I could see most of those games going either way, except I see Louisville as the most clear favorite IMO.

Saw the UK boxscore----shot 45% for game--28% from 3----and 47%  from free throw line---but they win by 20 because they rebound.

Beatable with an extremely HOT shooting team----and I don't care who it is---I hope someone beats them!

OK...then.

well...the only logical team to line up with them and defeat them is...Butler.

could you imagine? so many peeps on this site hate Butler, but only Butler aligns up best with UK (this is theoretical, by the way) ...

I wonder who some would root for...

how about make them do simple math equations to see if a 3:2 ratio will benefit them over the course of a 40 minute game?  :rtfm:

Too funny ou812dude---I literally laughed out loud at the thought of the UK players actually doing math.

Maybe an opposing team could rattle them by daring them to count backwards!

Or-ask Lyles if that zero he scored tonight would have been as much as he would have scored at IU?

Maybe ask just how many people are actually in a platoon?

I could see them go running to Coach Cal ----pleading and griping---"But you said we would never have to do math if we came to UK" !

I think they call that the Bledsoe Rule!  :P

saw all of this...

the Providence/UK was low scoring, which isn't shocking for Providence...

I'm wondering what approach teams will take with UK from here on out...

Kansas tried to drive...epic fail

Providence slowed it down...still lost by 20...

i guess what's left is Ark's "fastest 40 min of cbb" or w/e they call their style... just non-stop full court pressing and a run-and-gun offense. if a team gets hot going balls to the wall on offense... maybe they can stay ahead in running up the score

Wow---not used to saying "Rutgers wins". Props to them on getting it done.

yeah, road wins in CBB are hard to come by and we snagged 2 tonight. No excuse to lose this challenge after this start. We need to hold up our end of the bargain for starters. Purdue, Michigan, Wisonsin, with tough home challenges. Excited about the next 2 days of ball.

Agree 100%!  Now we have a lot more great BBall games to watch----and hopefully WIN!

@JeffRabjohns KenPom says now 66% likelihood that Big 10 wins challenge. Only 15% chance ACC will.

That's what I'm talking about!

But all this statistics stuff gets funny to this old schooler!

Good ole---fuzzy math!

In fact---RebelHoosier  now says there is a 50% likelihood that KenPom will be correct by guessing the Big Ten will win the Big Ten/ACC challenge! LOL!  :good:
