That seems strange. He was only 19-15 in his first year there last season, and if this board is to be believed, there’s little hope of getting better from year 1 to year 2. Yes, year one minus anything to abnormal has to be a grace period. Sidenote: Josh Schertz is a guy who has and continues to establish a resume of WINNING in whatever he does from tennis to basketball to living life. JUST GOOGLE HIM. Lol. He is going to end up at a big time program in the not too distant future (when the timing is right….and do well…he is just one of those guys kind of guys). Quote

I’m a huge fan of his. Wish ISU could have found a way to keep him. 16-1 is a very impressive. Breaking it down though shows they really haven’t beaten a tourney quality team yet and the A-10 doesn’t give them many option. Impressive win at VCU but they are having a down year for them. SOS-298 non con sos-329 1 win- non D1 school 10 wins vs 200+ NET 3 wins vs NET 100-150 2 wins @NET 53( good win), Neutral (NET-49, Santa Clara) again I think he is a really good coach however he has benefiting from a soft schedule so far. That was a 6 game improvement from the previous year. And the two Indiana State transfers he brought over were all-conference players. He had a short-turn around in the portal but retained his eye for talent, and if this board is to be believed that is a tough thing to do. Quote
