I loved being one of America's most hated teams!  I hope we earn that distinction again soon!

 

In the meantime---my most hated team is UK---UK----UK----and there is not a close second!

85-86 was a Season on the Brink...if I'm not mistaken...

the season that launched a book about the horrors of playing for Knight (paraphrasing for John Feinstein),

and a book that launched an undying hatred for a writer (paraphrasing for Knight)

You know, I was there during this time period.  And all the righteous indignation about the book.  20+ years later, I read the book.  My review -- BFD.  Frankly, having experienced the real world, it didn't sound that shocking too me.  

 

And I loved that team.  So Sporting News can suck it.
