GAMEDAY! We got another tough one tonight @ 7 ET against the #1 Irish. Go Hoosiers!

 
• Notre Dame is 8-3-2 overall and brings a three-match win streak into Jerry Yeagley Field at Bill Armstrong Stadium. 
• The Fighting Irish are coming off a 4-1 win at Duke, and toppled Northwestern by a 1-0 score on Oct. 14. 
• Its three losses have come at the hands of Kentucky (1-0), Boston College (1-0) and Michigan (3-2). 
• Patrick Hodan leads all scorers with six goals and two assists (14 points), while Jeffrey Farina is tops in team assists with four. 
• Ten different Notre Dame players account for the team's 21 goals. 
• Thirteen of the team's 21 goals have come in the second half, with 15 of 21 coming after the halftime break. 
• Notre Dame has taken 203 shots to 130 for opponents. 
• Goalkeeper Patrick Wall has allowed 11 goals in 1234:18 minutes for a 0.80 GAA with 34 saves and five shutouts.

B1G, big win!  such an underrated rivalry, don't know why it's seemingly rarely talked about as such.  two in-state premiere programs giving each other tough battles every year.  notre dame, louisville, maryland -- three rivals that should be on the schedule annually.

 

4-1-1 in probably the toughest 6-game stretch in the country -- not bad at all.  ligher competition ahead in the final four regular season games, hope the guys don't let off the pedal.  I'm sure yeagley has already made that clear.

 

I hope we have colin webb in goal for two more years, but that's looking more and more doubtful with each shutout.  stud.
