KingPG21 Posted October 4, 2024 Posted October 4, 2024 The hype around the KAT trade was overblown by so many people. In a vacuum yah KAT is better. But the Knicks depth is basically gone now. McBride is solid. Who knows what Robinson is gonna be between the time he comes back and before he inevitably gets hurt again. OG is going to get hurt. There is no, if, its when and how long. KAT has dealt with injuries more and more as his career has gone on. I guess Thibs runs his guys into the ground already, but their top 5 are gonna have to play a ton. NBA season is long. Long term they hurt themselves adding KAT's contract too. Like. Whatever I guess. SAS can yell and scream all he wants. Knicks ain't winning it all Quote

And has probably gotten softer over the years. So I'm not sure how that's going to mesh with a leader like Brunson who is more of a "put everything on the line to win" kinda guy. Quote
