All it takes is that one GM(and to some extent coach), to say screw it, I'm taking Edey, and all you other guys can try to figure out how to stop my guy in the post. 

My guy shoots 60%-75% from the block, your guy shoots 35%-45% from 3. I love the long, athletic wings, but I'd love to have that traditional 5 back in play.

Where would Olajuwon, Ewing, Robinson, Shaq be in today's game. Would Manute Bol be drafted ahead of these guys lol

I always kind of saw a lot of Waymen Tisdale in Trayce. He had a hell of a career, living in that 15' and in range.

Maybe Bol would be a Top 10 prospect.

Indiana apparently signing Bruce Brown for around 20M /year. Pacer fans how ya feeling on this one?

I like it. Only a 2 year deal and since it’ll be impossible to spend all of the cap space we have, it isn’t much of a risk. Brings some toughness to the wing even though he isn’t traditional wing height.

Forgot we almost had him at IU. Looks like a solid addition even if pricey.

Edey can't guard anybody in the NBA on the perimeter. 

 

Boban Marjanovic can't see the court anymore, and got played off the court pretty frequently. 

 

Edey wouldn't shoot that well on high quantity in the NBA. Every single defender in the NBA is better than what he saw in college. 

 

Its not big brain thinking. Its get yourself fired thinking putting Edey out there and thinking he isn't a huge luability.
