Details of Jackson's game:  30 pts. on 8 of 18 from the field; 2 of 6 on 3’s; 12 of 21 FT’s; 10 reb; 3 assists; 4 TO; 8 blks.

FT% is gross, more TO's than assists, not real good shooting numbers for a big.

Those are BIG TIME numbers. 21 free throws?!?

That means the only way to stop him was to tackle him.

And after a summer or two with the shot doc I'm sure his FT% will go up. Regardless 21 freebies is a lot! Not only for the free throws but the foul trouble you're getting the other team in.

Sort of confused why you're upset about Durham's numbers when JJ's have similar quality. Low FG% and lots of shots

49%, 47%, 81%

Vs.

32%, 28%, 75%

I realize you like to call out my opinions but statistically this one isn't even close.

Durham could turn out to be a fine player. But he is struggling with his shooting.

By ALL accounts Jaren Jackson is one of the most improved players on the EYBL circuit. Stats support this take. Not just me.

49% shooting vs. 32% is a heckuva difference over the course of a 30 game season.

I was specifically referring to his recent games Old Fart just posted. I agree those aren't comparable over the course of the season.

I only like calling out opinions when I disagree with them or want clarification around (your post). Don't worry, I'm not picking on you.

Team doesn't seem to win but he's gone national this summer. Sorta reminds me of the Donovan Mitchell rise from 2 years ago. I think he may make a case for top rated kid from the state when the rankings come out. Some of this may have to do with his east coast ties, but when I hear buzz from east coast people about a kid in the midwest it means something.
