Favorite IU BBall Dunk or Block of All Time

Recommended Posts

wow...Vic had so many throw downs AND blocks...

he is by far and away the most entertaining dunker (not a word, but still using it) in the history of IU basketball,

so I would give the dunking award to him...

and I'm going with wsteel on the block...Moye's block on Boozer was pure joy surrounded by awesomeness...

something just occurred to me...

Cal wasn't scared of playing in Assembly Hall again...

he ended the series because he didn't want to play against VIC again!!!...especially not in Rupp Arena where those dunks would have happened in front of all the blue haired women down on the front row...those tickers would have never handled that!

Loved that dunk. The place went nuts when he did that. Loudest game I've ever been to.

I can't believe we beat that Kentucky team with Tom Pritchard getting PT. Insane.

Without a doubt mine is AJ Moye blocking Boozer in the sweet 16.

This is without a doubt my fave!!!

Coming in 2nd is Alan Hendersons game saving block on CWebb at michigan in I believe '92. I remember dukie Vitale going bananas about it. I was only 9-10 yr old at time. Anyone else remember?? B1G title on the line as well??

I agree that the block is easily Moye, as for the dunk there are just so many to choose from. Vic had so many, and had that one hander gone down against Michigan, that might have been the best dunk that I'd ever seen. I only seem to remember dunks from recent years, and the 2 that really stand out to me were Will's posterization of that Iowa player and Pritchard's put back.

Ditto these exact thoughts.
