Pre-Conference Record Prediction

Recommended Posts

I'd say 11-2 would be realistic. I think the length of Gtown and Louisville will give us fits.

If we come out 11-2 with only loses to GTown and Louisville, I'll be very happy. That would mean we at least took care of business. But I predict we win one of those. I'll be at the Louisville game, so I hope it's that one :)

My wife is getting extra nervous after a few games for the UofL v IU game... She is surprised by our talented shooters, and Montrezl is not exactly playing like a beast for them... it seems he has got a case of the Vonleh's... trying to hard to impress scouts maybe with his range... he has taken a lot of 3's already this season, camping on top of the key waiting for the kick out...

This is very good news for us if he isn't playing big down low...

I am liking the chances of those who predict 13-0.....

It can happen. If our threes are falling and we play tenacious d, we can do it. Were lacking in size and rebounding, but if we force turnovers like we did against SMU, we are better off. If we didn't force them to play uncomfortably, we would've lost. Also, we are a team that will depend on the whistle and the FT line, so, the refs will play a big part in our quest. I
Can't make anything of our squad until we hit the road.

Besides good shooters in Nick and JBJ. Yogi is our man. He has to let the game come him and not force any bad passes. Hanner has to gain some coordination on defense. He's got to stay one step ahead. I see improvement but nothing I am surprised by. I think he can be a stellar player, but he hasn't become a good big ten caliber player since he's left high school.
