2 in a row!  Hoosiers thump the Spartans 12-4 pounding out 13 hits.  Only 7 of our runs were earned as Sparty played the gracious host and committed 4 errors.  Parker with 3 hits and 3 RBI.  Minnick, Kettleman and Benson each with 2 hits.  Kleiman started and went 4 hits only giving up 3 hits and 1 run.  Cooper relieved in the 5th but didn't make it out of the inning giving up 3 runs on 2 hits - both HRs.  Montgomery finished up the final 2.1 innings allowing just a single hit.  Hopefully we get a series sweep tomorrow.

Wednesday evening we're scheduled to play the twice rained out doubleheader with PUke.  Right now looks like rain throughout the day in Bloomington until 4:00 and then beginning to clear.  Maybe third times the charm and we'll actually get the games in.

Win streak stretches to 7 but it took 4 runs in the 7th to pull it off courtesy of a Cooper grand slam!!  And that was her second HR of the game hitting a solo shot in the 3rd.  We only had 3 hits in the entire game.  Kleiman started and went 5 innings and Montgomery closed it out.

Tomorrow night we'll hopefully get in the twice rain delayed doubleheader with PUke.  First game scheduled to start 5:00.

Hoosiers win game #1 5-1.

8th win in a row and it assures us of no worse than a tie in the Governor's Cup competition.

Copeland went the distance throwing a 2 hitter, walked 3, struck out 7.  PUke scored it's lone run in the 1st and we responded with 3 of our own and never looked back.  Women had 7 hits scattered across 7 different batters; 3 of the 7 were doubles.  Benson 2 RBI.

Game #2 scheduled to start at 7:30.
