They probably want to make sure they don't have to pay him before they cut him (he/the NFLPA could file a grievance). Also, he's the only "healthy" (lol he's overweight tho) RB we have on contract, so they might want to have a replacement first.

I would take him. Colts have been linked to a lot of high name guys which has me excited. The other part of me looks at the track record of not making big moves and I don't know if they get any of the big time names

Trading a 1st round pick for Trent Richardson was a big move.  It just wound up being a terrible one.  Now I wonder if they'll make a big move for a running back since it bit them before.

I was listening to Pat McAfee this morning- he really wants Suh here. The list of players that have Colts in their sights is impressive! My question is-how the fans accept him (and/or Adrian Peterson, should he come), given their past transgressions. Frank Gore and Andre Johnson would be warmly received :)

I'm not too big on AP buts it more about his age/contract than what happened. I'd prefer to get Gore on a short term deal.and draft Hus replacement this year.

However I'd take Suh in an instant though. No ifs, ands, or buts about it IMO.
