"The bill of rights will be implemented immediately and coaches are free to use it as part of their pitch to recruits."
This could really be effective in the recruiting process, I believe it could have the ability to make an offer from Indiana really stand out from the rest. And of course, the parents of the potential recruits would be very happy to hear about their son/daughter's ability to come back to school for free in the future, if they wanted to go pro early or whatever, would give them something to fall back on.

This is a great idea. I don't know how this will translate to basketball and football, but with other sports this might sway big recruits to come play for our school.  Excellent idea.

Absolutely the best news coming out of Hoosier Nation for some time. More schools will be forced to follow our lead, and this is similar to what Southern Cal has also done. More power to the student athletes! Now raise their stipends.

I am not astros from previous threads. I usually stick with some variation of andowen; however, I have only been apart of one other thread. 

 

I am a Reds fan though and miss having the astros in the NL Central (well for the past five or so years).
