FYI regarding the visitor/home deal:

In determining which of two teams in any game will be the home team, the games committee or the NCAA game representative shall designate the home team using the following guidelines: [/size][/font]
[font=TimesNewRoman][size=2]1. The institution that has been the home team the fewer number of times in that particular tournament. [/size][/font]
[font=TimesNewRoman][size=2]2. If the two teams are equal in this respect but unequal in the number of times they were the visitor, then the team that has been the visitor more often will be designated the home team. [/size][/font]
[font=TimesNewRoman][size=2]3. If the two teams are equal in the number of times that they have been home and visitor, the games committee or the NCAA game representative shall observe the following procedures in the order stated: a. Because, you know, just making the higher seed the home team would be too easy and make too much sense.

All I see is some stupid, useless formula making a simple thing more complicated than necessary.  But wait, we are talking about the NCAA here so it makes perfect sense in that context!

Yeah, it seems to suck being a sports fan now. Nothing much to look forward to in that regard this summer.

I am with ya. NBA finals will be cool. NHL finals will be great, although I'd prefer the hawks. As a cubs fan, MLB is done. Long break ahead.

Most of June and all of July sports are just terrible every year. During the MLB All-Star break, there is an annual day that there are literally ZERO sporting events. Luckily it's World Cup year, but IU football can't come soon enough.

I just glanced over the roster. For some reason I thought we had more than just five seniors. 

 

 

Will Halstead return after his injury? Schwarber may leave, but I think we'll be pretty good next season. Sucks we had to have one of those "remember when?" moments that will probably sting for awhile, especially in a year when multiple other national seeds lost and 8 of the 10 SEC teams got knocked out already as well.
