The Grilling Thread

I love grilling chicken. The chicken sat in worschester sauce for about 4 and a half hours, then put garlic and herb seasoning. Smells and taste amazing!

It's great. I'm the grilled in the family, and always get put to work when I go home to see the family. It's always burgers or my teriyaki chicken.

If you've never tried it, after letting your hamburger meat soak in w-sauce for an hour or so, use Montreal Steak seasoning! It's freaking awesome!

Man Montreal is the real deal. I've never tried my burgers with w-sauce but def want to give it a try. I usually mix in bacon with my hamburger meat and season it.

I haven't tried seasoning my own patties in a long while, I've been taking the easy way out and getting meat at a local meat market that's already seasoned.  They have a smokey bacon mix that is really good for burgers.

I don't use my grill much at all, really.  It's just a cheap charcoal grill, but it works alright if you have the patience.  The charcoal doesn't want to keep a good flame so it takes forever for the lighter fluid to burn off and the coal to ash over, and you can't really get the temperature up.  Wishing I would've just gotten a gas grill.

I like gas, but that's because I grew up with it. Every time I season the meat (even if I season the burgers before I party them), I season the outside and pat the burger to make sure the seasoning doesn't fall off. W-sauce is incredible with burgers or chicken. One neat trick to clean a grill when it's heated and before you use it, chop an onion in half and run the grill plates. It cleans the plates and you get the awesome fried onion smell. I let the onion just rest on the grill while I'm cooking. Sent from my iPod touch using BtownBanners

You guys keep grilling your chicken and burgers. Here's what I'll let you in on..

You will need:

-Open fire
-Grill grate (and a way to keep it above the flames)
-Metal pan
-1 (one(many)) Totino's frozen pizza(s)
-Something to cover the grate and pan

Get a fire nice and hot, throw the pizza on the grate/pan, and let it cook until the cheese melts. The pan helps keep the bottom from blackening. It will literally blow your mind. You're welcome.

Basically the same concept as a brick oven deal, just awesome...er. Oh and PERFECT for camping. Also, if you have a smoker (if not, you need one yesterday) put one in for 20-30 minutes. Will melt your face right off.

It really was great.  We don't splurge too often but this was.  I rolled the butter, garlic, parm and wine into a log shape, then froze it.  As the oysters started opening, I sliced off a portion and let it melt.  Wow.

One thing to note, don't let the burger meat sit or soak in the w-sauce for too long. I let them soak no longer than an hour or so. If they soak too long, the meat falls apart easier on the grill. Just wanted to let you know.

Also take a spoon, or use your thumb, and put a dimple in the middle of it. That keeps the center from ballooning up and helps maintain a level cook.

I love to caramelize my onions for burgers- about 3 hours in a medium low skillet with butter, a pinch of salt and some brown sugar!
