But I have been around here along time have a state ring with Bloomington north in 99' an have coached middle school bob for 12 years an have been part of indiana elite program for awhile an I knw many of these kids on the team an around the state. Ur probably just one of these kids tht came into town went to school an think u really knw what iu basketball really is. But us here born an raised bleed basketball an iu basketball. Crean has not done anything in his career but one final four in what 20 years coaching. 2 sweet sixteens here an a big ten champ thts not IU standards bud

CTCs tenure here has been pretty decent, considering the circumstances he came into.. but I agree that if you look at his whole coaching career, its been pretty underwhelming.  

We always talk about how the players will be after the offseason and how much better they can get, etc.  Well, the same can be said for CTC and the coaching staff.  Let's see how he performs this next season. He might correct some of his mistakes and be a much better head coach, or even our guard heavy line-up could mesh perfectly with the style he coaches.   I'm sure he's aware of many of his coaching mistakes and works to correct them.

Now THAT is passion fivestar.  Crean's tenure is depending entirely on this upcoming season.  Everyone knows it.  He has done some great things for IU but he has not proven himself to be the answer in the slightest.  The trajectory was decent until last year.  The recruiting misses and defections (not hollowell and etherington, I understand those.  fischer, KJrelentless, Calbert, etc....) indicate bigger problems exist than a mediocre basketball season.

 

The, on the court, results have been scary bad in a few circumstances.  I am hoping last year was more of a chemistry problem with either players and/or staff.  That goes back to, we have a lot riding on this year.
