Haha I was just messing with you. Wrigley is a frickin hole. Neighborhood is cool, history is cool, the smell of stale pee and rotting, well, everything not so cool. I'll go to Busch or Great American any day.

STL doesn't have much, but Busch is a beautiful ballpark

Absolutely. I'd much rather go there to see the Cubs. Plus it's closer. Getting to the north side is hellacious.

Does anyone outside of NY or Boston (or maybe even inside NY or Boston) truly care about Yankees/Red Sox? ESPN talks it up as the greatest rivalry since Persians vs The World but they play like 75 times a year and nothing ever happens except the 75 slowest games of the year.

I quit caring a long time ago.

Not nearly as good as it used to be, but both teams are still big spenders and should have good teams year in and year out, meaning it should always be a good game (figuratively speaking)

Yeah they should always be good, but man it's so diluted with them being in the same division. Maybe it'll change if they both are back to regularly battling for the east but it just gets talked up so much and nothing exciting ever really happens.

I agree completely. And with how much it's advertised and blown up, it just always seems like a letdown. They make it seem like it is a rivalry of epic proportions, when it isn't.

77 f-bombs from the Cincy Skipper.

MILWAUKEE — Reds manager Bryan Price showed the same frustration that has welled up among the team's fanbase as the team is coming off four straight losses and seven losses in eight games.

What followed was a five-minute, 34-second expletive-filled tirade. The final tally was 77 uses of the "F" word or a variant and 11 uses of a vulgar term for feces (two bovine, one equine).

The basis of Price's argument was that he was not fond of sharing information with the media that could be used to his opponent's advantage.

I'd like to apologize in advance to the NL Central and MLB as a whole. Addy Russell got called up and is making his first career start tonight. Brace yourselves.

So when does Starlin get traded?

I'm not convinced he will right now. Russell will play 2nd for now. If Baez gets his bat out of his nether regions and gets called back up he'll go to 3rd and move Bryant to left possibly. Or Starlin to 3rd, Russell to short and Bryant to left with Baez at 2nd. So many possibilities. And all of them leave us with an average of like 24 in the infield.

Starlin's playing great so far this season and Javy has not shown me any signs of a better plate approach. I say as long as Castro can keep it up and Russell stays on top of his game, the infield in place should be the infield of the future. Along with Soler Coghlan and Fowler for the rest of this season. Addison is batting +300 in the minors right now and we'll see how that can translate. Lester needs to step up too. If you're getting 155 mil over 6 years your ERA shouldnt be above 3.5

I'm really excited about the new approach for Starlin. Everyone was talking last night about how into the game he was and it doesn't seem like he's ever had that fire. Someone probably told him that Addy was coming up to be honest, then he decided to play. Lester has been really disappointing. I hope he gets it figured out soon or I'll be really worried about that investment.

It's the worst when ever anyone brings up the Edwin Jackson deal. Jon Lester is better than Edwin, but it'd help if he really proved it. Castro does look he has an extra fire, and I think it's really making him a better player. Arrieta has also shown a lot of promise, and if Lester can play like he's getting paid 155 mill we'd have arguably the best 1-2 punch in the majors.

The Jackson deal is still embarrassing but I definitely agree Lester is better. I hope he just has some rust to shake off or something. I'll be interested to see if we make a deal for Hamels or another good pitcher deeper into the summer to try and make a run. The only problem is, I don't want to give up any of the young guys on the MLB team, or Almora, Schwarber, etc. But it's give and take I guess.
