What should be done eventually should be done immediately

So the saying goes. I see a lot of similarities in USC situation under Lane Kiffin and Indiana under Crean.

Both are traditional programs
Both hired young coaches who took over their programs under sanctions
Both coaches were hired by the previous AD.
Both had some limited success but mostly disapointment
Both coaches were goven a public endorsemen.

tPat Hayden realized that he had to go out and get his guy and let Kiffin go. No more suffering on the field AND on the recruiting front. Delaying the decision would only increase and prolong the damage. It took stones but I believe he made the right decision. So do most in the cfb world.

We were disapointing last year. Teriible this year. Next yesr won't be much better. Most in the know agree that Indiana will not land a top 50 recuit until at least after next season. Some even think top 100. We are only cutting our own throats until then. Crean's name is mud in the cbb world. And not just because of this season. There is a general perception out there that Crean is just not a very good coach. Nice guy. Good ambassador. Poor coach.

What should be done eventually, should be done immediately. It would be best for everyone.

Please don't turn this place into the other boards with repetitive stuff like this.

I like your thought but it's kinda too late for that.

Did you really not understand the point was no top 50 recruits going forward untill after next season? Nobody is talking about recruits who commited 6 months sgo under much different circumstances.

Or what it comes down to is that you're clueless when it comes to college basketball.

The Lane Kiffen-Tom Crean analogy is one of the worst I have EVER seen.
