Two things will spawn from this: 1) Half of the Hoosier faithful will be mad we didn't fire Crean and get Smart and the other half will want Buzz Williams to get out of his Virginia Tech contract. VT will be better off than Marquette in two years.

I am in Richmond VA today and was listening to their sports radio station. I had read the initial tweet on this while waiting on the rental car and when I got in the car and found the station they barely mentioned it. I think they probably think he looks all the time but will not leave us. Turned down UCLA for us. Most if the conversation was on an article in the paper here Sunday asking if VCU was getting value for the investment they made in Smart. Wow.

Would love for him to go just to listen to the radio tomorrow.

Losing to Stephen F. Austin probably makes you think twice about turning down big money the next time it is offered, because you start to realize it may not come again.

They would be better off going after Howland.  Shaka has been kind of exposed since his magical Final Four run.  Running a full court press and pretending you invented something new by giving it a catchy name like Havoc is cute and all but...his teams look like a hot mess when they can't get those turnovers.
