Hey, for real though he played 31 per game this year. Noah didn't even play that much. Maybe he would play 38...

LOL. I can't really see Crean giving anyone 38 minutes per game. Definitely not his style.

Haha yeah I was only kind of kidding. If we could get him and get 30 mpg that would be great. Give Hanner the other 10 and even let them play together a little bit (Crean won't do that).

Not a 5th year, or even relevant to this thread, but figured I'd put it in here to keep people updated.

Kale Abrahamson is transferring from Northwestern.

He's literally their only shooter.
With Vonleh all but gone to the NBA, are there any 5th year transfers we should keep an eye on? I would think that if you were a big man with one more year of eligibility left, IU would be close to the top of preferred destinations. Also, while we are on the topic of 5th years,I thought this was pretty interesting. Mo Creek left IU for GWU and I bet he never thought he would be making the NCAA Tournament and not his old teammates here at IU. Evan Gordon came from ASU, who made the NCAA Tournament. These 2 things can't help the mindset of other guys thinking about coming in for their last year of college basketball. [/ quote]
Mo Creek should hold his head high for being able to play in the NCAA. I for one think he was an excellant player and if the truth was really known was pushed out of Indiana basketball by CTC. Hang in there Maurice and good luck with your future.

If we went to like 5 overtimes every game I think he would be forced to. Seems like a good goal for next year

Well, this is encouraging. I said quite a while back that looking at a juco or 5 th year guy would be a better situation. Balance the class, won't tie up a scholarship for 3 or 4 years (get ready for Swanigan), and have an experienced big in the paint.

I feel the presence of Fred Hoiberg lurking somewhere in the Ames, Iowa cornfields ready to pounce.

I hope your post works as some kind of reverse jinx because Iowa State is losing its four to graduation.

According to another site, he said that Midwest schools are a plus for family reasons in an interview with Temple's student radio station. The only school mentioned was Iowa where he apparently has some connections.

Bad news: His family is in Iowa and he wants to be close to them.

Good news: His family is in the Quad Cities...looked it up; 135  (edit: 335 miles) from Bloomington!!
