End of Season Grade

13-14  F

I was thinking of giving them a D because it seemed that Troy and Stan were coming to their own but I never saw the team develop any sort of chemistry.  

 

12-13  B Big ten title was great and all but I think we really looked at ourselves we all felt the team could have gotten a lot farther in the tournament.  

 

11-12 A exceeded my expectations that  year.

We also got slaughtered by an awful Purdue team and lost at home to Penn State, Northwestern, and Nebraska.

There is no excuse for not making the tournament even the NIT for that matter we had two seasons where we were in tournament both in the sweet 16 and had two top 5 draft picks how in the world do you go from that to a team that lost a kid like Luke Fischer and lost some games that we should have been and no way we should have gotten swept by Nebraska and beat by Northwestern and lost at home to Penn State. My overall grade for the season is an F sorry coach but by the eye test you failed miserably and if I were you i would check the temperature of your seat.

They count, but you have to admit that they are overshadowed by the crushing losses. Losing to an in state rival in Purdue sucks, and PENN STATE... Penn State? Really? People always tend to focus more on the negatives than the positives and the negatives this year way outweigh and outnumber the positives. Theres always next year, hopefully things pick up

They do, but so do the awful losses.  Our bad losses outweighed the good wins.  Getting slaughtered by a terrible PU team is worse than an awful loss.  I can't give the season anything except an F.

Not as much because of the record, the bad losses, or not making a tourney; but because the team didn't look any different on the court from the 1st to the 32nd game of the year.

Guys, how has the atmosphere at Alumni Hall been? I have some relatives who were there during the Knight Championship years and they said a game at AH is an absolute must for your bucket list, but is it still this way? I can't imagine the student section/fans being very excitable during this type of year.

I gave us a D+ and said nothing about our losses. I realize they were bad losses. I have a pulse. Why is my opinion on something wrong if it is my opinion? Why is everyone telling me I need to hate IU more right now?
