There's no basis behind this other than an Instagram picture. Nike usually doesn't like to take on teams unwilling to change jerseys. Also, if Nike wanted us so bad, they wouldn't have let us go to Adidas. No basis=speculation at best

Where is the return on investment for Nike buying us out? I could see it after our current contract is up, but not before then. Our flagship program underachieved last year and prospects of it continuing don't look much better. Most pundits predict more of the same and we may be looking at a new staff this time next year. We should be happy we have Adidas although I personally feel Nike is a better product.
