I have a good feeling about this game tomorrow. Maybe that's a bad thing, but I had the same feeling about the Wiscy, Michigan, and Iowa games.

 

In all reality though, it's impossible to know what to expect from this team.

It seems UK fans are finally starting to see in Coach Cal what the rest of the world sees. I guess that losing to South Carolina will do that to a fanbase. I checked out the comment section from a recent article on one of their blogs, and it seems... well, a lot like the comment sections on IU blogs this year.

One quote in particular seemed like it could have been straight from a Hoosier mouth:

"I can’t believe that I’m at this point, but I’m fed up with his excuses and his antics. I can handle losing, but his doublespeak and blaming the players constantly is not something I’m willing to accept."

 

Other comments like this one are pretty much word for word of what everyone else has said about UK:

"These guys take it for granted that Cal will get them to the NBA. They don’t give a crap about Kentucky basketball."

 

Read for yourself. We're not the only upset fanbase right now. WE'RE NOT ALONE, GUYS!!!!

And as critical as I am of Crean, I would rather be where we are right now with a coach and players who actually care about our program than be where UK is right now -- with a coach with a sense of entitlement operating an NBA pharm league that is failing miserably to meet lofty and unrealistic preseason expectations.... again.

Don't be surprised if BBN runs Cal out of Lexington in a year or 2 like they did to Tubby.

It appears the hall will be less than packed for today's game due to weather. Let's hope IU is smart and allows people in the balcony to move down a couple minutes into the game to fill the lower area. Hate seeing that place empty for any reason
