I know nothing about him other than what I have read here but this sounds like the kind of kid I'd like us to get. A 6'8" juco with a motor. Find one more of these and get Harris from WVU and all things considered this off season, I'd be happy.

Deng Deng ended his #Nebrasketball official visit this afternoon and left without committing. He will take an official to LSU tomorrow.

I just looked at his 247 timeline and apparently he just recently decommitted from LSU? Also, they don't even show us as a team on the interest tab... Are we even still involved?

He went to Lee College out of HS, played a year, committed to LSU during that year, decided to stay at Lee College for a second year and decommited from LSU. Now he is showing interest again in LSU. He's visited Baylor and Nebraska, maybe some others i dont know.

 

I can't speak to IU's involvement, no idea.

I know there is a lot of Eron Harris love out there, and I get that, but it would be nice to add another big who could play this year.

I wouldn't cry about it at all.  Either would please me, but it is had to argue 17 ppg in Big 12 and 40+% 3 pt percentage as a proven commodity.

This is probably a jerk thing to say, but who says we couldn't get both.  Scholarships don't have to be finalized until the fall.  I hate to think of the crap storm that would hit with another defection, but if Peter is getting to the point where he physically can't play then maybe he hangs it up.  I'm not cheering for that or wanting him to get run off for EH or DD.  I'm just thinking out loud so to speak.  

 

I really hope that last schollie goes to one of these two.  Either way, I will be pleased.
