Part of me thinks it is Darryl because he has his own show coming out this summer.

That's part of my thought.  Plus his character doesn't exist in the comics so he throws a wrench into the storyline, and since he's Rick's right hand man (which was Glenn in the comics) they could decide to kill him off in place of Glenn.

Just sucks if it is Darryl cuz I can't picture the show without him.

I was so ticked last night that they left us like that. I expected to see someone die. Eeny, meeny, miny, moe. Not cool Negan, not cool.

Well technically you did see someone die, just don't know who.

Of course it wasn't cool, neither was bludgeoning someone with a barb wire wrapped bat.

Part of me thinks it is Darryl because he has his own show coming out this summer.

The issue with this is on The Talking Dead there were two things that caused confusion about who it was:

- There were hints in this episode

- There will be a whole episode dedicated as to why they killed who thy did.

With the first one, it makes me think of Eugene and Abraham. Eugene got a ton of praise in the finale, which leads me to think he's one of two candidates.

For the 2nd one, if they are going to spend a whole episode on it, it wouldn't be about Eugene, but that's me. Abraham and Glenn both die in the comics, and Darryl has no story. Also, Jesus becomes Rick's 2nd in command after Glenn dies in the comics.

It's a lot of guess work. I think it is Eugene, but that's based on the 'hints' on the episode. I guess they could spend a whole episode on Eugene about making bullets, but who knows because Eugene is still alive in the comics.

Tha...tha...tha...that would go a long way toward making the zombie apocalypse more tolerable.

Geez, make a grown man stutter.  If Negan did something to her (I doubt it, imagine the backlash killing a pregnant woman especially in that manner), I would bludgeon him with his own bat.

I'm thinking either Abraham or Glenn, leaning Glenn.  Although there are theories he kills two, one via bat the other via gun.

To add to his.  Glenn gets up close and personal with Lucille in the comics, and has had a lot of close calls.  No real thought on why I changed to Abraham, just a feeling, plus another character already took his death from the comics.

I can still see an argument for Darryl; his own show, doesn't exist in the comics, and he took Glenn's role as right hand man so he could take Glenn's spot.

Perhaps someone gets the kiss of death from Lucille, then another member of the group jumps in and gets the business end of Negan's gun.  They're tight knit now and I can't see them sitting by while someone gets taken out like that, and Negan did say if someone moves he'd shut that down quick.

Abraham gets the initial Lucille kiss of death and Daryl tries to intervene and Glenn is killed as punishment. Glenn is 100% gone though as he's been working on a movie in Japan over the last few months. I got a chance to visit Senoia, GA (Woodbury & Alexandria) this summer and got a little bit of the low down and got to see the live filming location...this is just what the "rumor" was surrounding the area so who really knows...we'll just have to wait and see.

From all that i have read, bellj833 is right on the money. Abraham and Glenn are gonners. Do you think they will cut off Rick's "right hand"? I think that happens in the book and the first episode coming up is called, "right hand man" or something of that sort. I wouldn't doubt it to keep Rick in line.

I've seen some YouTube videos with the theory that bellj833 laid out as well.

They don't follow the comics exact, so that only goes so far.  If they did Darryl wouldn't exist at all, Abraham would've already been dead (it was him instead of Denise in the comics), and it'd be Glenn that Lucille takes to.  In the teaser Negan asks Rick if he has a 'right hand man', then asks if it was someone still alive or if was who he whacked.

A bat wrapped in barb wire, that would be an awful way to go.
