Its is still a big win don't get me wrong.  I think a UM win on top of that will look good enough with 19 wins to get in.  If we can hover .500 in the B1G, and have wins against UM and Wisconsin, it would be hard to not let us in.  We also played MSU tough at MSU.  I think 19 is doable if we win both this week.  Iowa would be a huge win as well.  I just think we play better for some reason against Michigan than Iowa in the past.  Both have superior talent to us this year.  If we were to get to 20 this year, I would think it is academic of us getting in.  That would probably take a win in the tournament.

Right now our RPI is 67.  Our SOS is 51.  I think RPI is sometimes a bad example when comparing 2 programs late in the season exclusively.  There are more factors than just RPI.  In the instance of seeing where you are compared to a group of schools it is helpful.  67 would put us just outside of the bubble.  You will have schools who are the best in their conference who aren't that high based on SOS.  At-large bid is how we would have to get in.  We would be fighting with probably 30 schools for 12-15 spots.  At this point in the year you always hear how it is best to finish strong.  We have a schedule that allows us to do that while picking up quality wins.  I don't want to confuse us with a school who is a top 9 seed.  We aren't that.  We would at best be a 11, 12, or 13, based on our quality wins and SOS by the end of the year.  Typically IU is in the top 20 in SOS.  We won't get there by the end of the year.  That is why it is crucial, imo, to get at least one more quality win after Wisconsin has struggled and finish strong.  That will allow us to make it.  We have a name, which helps.  If you put 2 equal teams up against each other, the one with the name will always get in.  Better ratings.  I guess that is my more in depth reasoning for what I said earlier in regards to the Wisconsin win.

IU, IMO, should win this game. However, I just don't think it will happen. It will be a very close game, but someone besides Noah. Yogi, and Stan will have to step up. Limit turnovers, get the ball inside, and continue to play good defense, IU wins. I hope I'm wrong, I really do.

I won't be able to watch the game tonight though, I will be out :(

This is a must win for IU tonight, but the way that the Big 10 season is going, this one is prime for triple overtime, a couple of buzzer beaters, some fan ejections and perhaps a delay due to all of the popcorn poppers in the place being possessed and spewing popcorn until the doors bust open.  It has been that crazy!

Really excited for IU's next two game actually. Will be interesting to see how the Hoosiers come out tonight.

I'm more confident IU wins on Sunday than today! I'll be in Bloomington for the game, and IU wins when I'm in Bloomington! (See my Wisconsin post)

I will be there too... I used to be able to say the same thing and then I attended the Northwestern debacle this year.... Hopefully I get back on track and your streak continues.... Where are your seats?

B row 15 I think. 101-104. Looking forward to it! You?

Seems like a game when Noah should be dominant on both ends. Pritchford is the only guy 6'10" or above that they play regular minutes. Rebounding seems to be an area we should dominate as well

So Vonleh may get 6 or 7 shot attempts tonight instead of 4? Good deal.

In other words, run a completely different half court offense.  I wish we would, but that won't happen.  It will continue to be Tom Crean's beloved four statues approach, 4 players standing still and watching the ball handler try to go one on one.  While forgetting there's a talented big on the floor, and pray for less than 16 turnovers.

Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners[/quote] The only way he will get enough shots to score 20 points is either A he makes every shot he takes or B just dribbles the ball up himself. Seems like a damn chore to get him the ball inside. Jk tho he can easily get 20 I'm just sick of not getting him the ball.
