We have plenty of athleticism. I wouldn't necessarily call it "talent." It's talent, but not really basketball talent.

Saw something on Twitter along the lines of 'there are two types of basketball players: athletes playing basketball and athletic basketball players. Indiana trying to transform the athletes into athletic basketball players.'

Thing is, I don't even care much about athletic.  I want players that can flat out play the game.

I've said for years that this team would miss Hulls after he was gone, and not just because of his shooting ability.  He was smart and just flat knew how to play the game.  He wasn't a good on ball defender, but there is more to defense than that and he was a good off ball defender.

Who's ready for a corny, cliche post? Here goes...

Give me 12 Jordan Hulls' (of varying heights and weights, please) putting on the candy stripes and I will be a happy fan 20 times out of 10.

I am still shocked and wondering what happen there last night.  I joked at the Y this morning, I still want to see the final score this morning.  It just fell apart.

Crean getting out coached by a coach that was tweeting at halftime, happened.  Crean being a better spoken version of Mike Davis, happened.  Tom Crean being Tom Crean, a great salesman but mediocre coach (with a very mediocre track record), happened.
