I feel like he is already set on the college he wants to go to if he already has a date for an announcement. I think he is visiting SC to just make sure he has turned over every stone. But, hey what do I know.

I really don't know. Being a Chicago top 100 player, I wouldn't be surprised if some late Team$ swoop in and grab. South Carolina makes sense. Hearing St. John's doesn't surprise either. The fact the we reached out to 4+ wings since he delayed decision is more telling than the delayed decision. And we VISITED Deng A Ling Deng.

I hate that.  I feel like Cunningham was our best available replacement for Jeremy Hollowell and the need for another true forward to play the 4.  I was hoping we would get both him, and a big man to play the 5.  I'd hate to think that South Carolina or St Johns actually sound like better decisions than available minutes at IU.  That's the frustrating part.

If we miss on Cunningham, it would be alarmingly apparent that we have no recruiting momentum. We aren't going to get them all, I have long accepted that as part of the recruiting game, but to miss on so many targets now would be concerning. At a time when Crean and staff NEED all the momentum they can muster, its coming up short. We are about 6 months away from Midnight Madness, lets hope there are some decent options left.
