Hopefully our defense is what we saw in the second half on Saturday rather than the first half. It still wasn't particularly great, but still it was better. If the defense performs to the level that they did in the first half this is a game I'm going be turning off rather early.

We need to go all 40. We ran out of steam in the second half against Mich. St., and there can't be half as many turnovers as there have been.

 

Maybe I'm being too optimistic but I think we have a shot.

It's B1G season. Anything can happen and that's why I'm cautiously optimistic. Can't wait to get in The Hall tonight!

I give this years team more of a shot than last years. Here is why. Wisconsin is averaging 82.0 ppg this year and will get out and run unlike the bo ryan hitler youth movement of years past. I give IU a shot and don't think it will be a blowout.

This is one of those games where I work out during the game.  Easier to work out when you are pissed.  Everything we are good at, they are better at stopping.  Everything we are bad at, they are great at taking advantage.  They don't turn the ball over and make you play in half court.  They make you turn the ball over and get quick scores.  They don't foul.  Not a lot to like in this game.  We have to play a different brand of basketball to be in it down the stretch.

First, i want to get this out of the way, I HATE WISCONSIN. Okay, i'm good now. This game scares me, but its because it is Wisconsin. That style of play really hurts IU, and IU's inexperience will really hurt us. I don't see us winning, but would help make the season if they can pull this out.

IU has to limit turnovers to have any chance. Smart play will go a very long way in this game. Hope our boys are up for the challenge. Also, really hope no one is on the edge to jump if we lose by 15pts. This game does not set up well for our Hoosiers, so just be prepared.

Wisky has changed their tempo a little this year and have spiced it up but I can totally see bo killing the tempo in this game. Would be silly for him not to.

i know wisky will slow us down majorly, hopefully that causes us not to run and gun and make careless turnovers. I havent watched them in awhile but if they run the 2 3 zone they are gonna do it a lot, seeing as how terrible we are against it. My key factor for tonight will be noah keeping out of foul trouble. He needs to play as much as possible. i also would love to see sheehey hit his nice mid range jumpers and play some hard defense like he has. Yogi will be huge as well, id like him to get hot on 3s and direct traffic by feeding the post.

Yeah it is kind of weird. But their pace is closer to the NCAA average, or at it, haven't checked the numbers in about 2 weeks, but know it is up there. I mean to us, it will probably look like they are just running an offense at a normal pace, to their fans it must feel like light speed, lol.

Bo Ryan would still be wise to play a slow it down game, Crean won't be able to adjust to it.
