(2016) C Thon Maker

Recommended Posts

Well it's easy
1. Priller
2. April
3. Ritchie
4. Davis ( he did it to Creek)
5. Yogi decision
There's 4 plus a maybe put the numbers beside names to help you count

Ritchie wouldn't free up a scholarship, he's a walk-on. If 3 players left then 1 of them is a player people don't want to leave, not to mention they unless you're bringing in UK classes you can't have that kind of turnover and win consistently.

Easy there brochacho, let's not get into an insult contest, especially when your #3 (three, if words help you) is a walk-on. This isn't frickin NBA 2k. You don't just release and trade people to give yourself an all-star roster. NOT how this works. If you want to use big boy words, I would gladly debate with you.

Ok tell me why getting rid of priller, April, and Davis is a bad thing? And you can persuade them to transfer he has done it before he'll do it again

Who is this clown? And please stop tweeting at recruits. If that is Thon's interaction with IU fans, we are sunk.

Especially if Thon sees that he favorited his own tweet...

Priller and April I could agree with. Davis, provided he is good to go on the court, will be an awesome 4 year player for us. You're wanting to trade a 4 year contributor and a 4 year non-contributor for 2 likely one and done's. That type of turnover ruins a roster for multiple years because next year we would likely be losing:

1. Yogi
2. Hanner
3. Zeisloft
4. Troy
5. Jimmy
6. Thon
7. Murray
And even a possible 8 in Bryant. (I know he said he wants 2 years, but so did Vonleh).

You can not be successful losing that many guys per year and not having the 4 year guys behind them.

If Yogi leaves, I'm on board with Murray, but I don't see that scenario being likely. I would like to see us bring in a good 2016 PG that can run the show for 3-4 years. Sometimes you have to think long-term.

Like Jackson from SOA says. Thinking big picture shit man

Rojo can run the point and you starting when championship kids start coming so if you take solid 8 players draft ready and when a national championship you can easily replace them with our great recruiting staff plus you still have Rojo, OG, and Murray not a bad foundation to build on. And we can't successful build a program like Wisconsin we aren't recruit the right kids for that. In Tom creans era name every good and I mean good four year player you can think of

And we go numb to letting players go. If Davis is able to play but is let go I don't see that sitting well with Indiana high school coaches. We stop looking at actual student-athletes and just consider basketball ability and stars. I'm not okay with that.

I don't think Davis will ever be as good as he could have been. Same thing happened to creek. Kid was gonna be a star

Lol this is by far the worst overall grammar I have ever seen in a post on this app
