I think its inevitable that someone else leaves. Most of these guys come in thinking they are gonna start ( not because someone told them they would, just their own arrogance) and when they don't, they get disillusioned and want to go where they can play. Crap, they transfer from Evansville too. Not a Crean only problem.

Can't say as I blame them. Most 18 year olds are idiots and think they know everything. I'm raising one now and she is flat nuts. I myself though I was the next Eddie Van Halen. It didn't work out.

And thats pretty much it in a nutshell. I suspect that there are a number of other schools who have a transfer rate somewhere in the same neighborhood as CTC has at IU. Isn't much different than being out there in the working world.

N.D. Kendrick ‏@NDkendrick 9m

Fischer won't be the only one transferring. Just my gut.

Do you think this has anything to do with TW starting every game?  Or is that just CTC being CTC?

I am not CC, but that won't be the case.  Once kids get into a situation, they may think its worse than what they originally thought.  Take Hartman for example.  He may have thought he would see 10 min a game, and obviously isn't.  He sees 3 incoming freshman, 2 of which are better than him.  He doesn't have a role on this team.  I hope no kid transfers.  The whole starting thing is overblown a lot of the time.  As you and anyone not named Ray Charles knows, Crean does some hockey shifts during the game.  Being a starter guarantees you the 1st 2 minutes at most before he starts throwing boilers at the wall.  I could see a kid transferring due to the hectic rotations before not starting.  They don't have time to notice the starting lineup before the shifts come.

He went the first 7 minutes of the UI game without making a sub.  I was absolutely stunned, and texted my friend that Crean was probably shaking.  Of course right after that was a line shift.
