Improvement every time out.  You can't ask for much more from such a young team.  We have got to tighten that FT shooting up though.  It will be a whole new ball game taking this outfit to NY.  We'll see how they handle playing away from home and playing a power conference team.

We have room for improvement but Yogi did very well tonight and what was Will thinking when he his fifth foul and he had just gotten in.

Glad to see Hanner steppin up, last year I thought for sure he was gonna be a beast, it didn't happen but I'm pretty sure he's gonna be a key player for us

Forgot about Hanner. He had some foul issues today, but the production he brings to the court is definitely at a much better level than we saw last year

I couldn't watch, but when I see we beat a good Stony Brook squad by 16 just days after only beating LIU-Brooklyn by one, I'm pleased.

Solid all around game really. Never got out of control and pretty much had them at a good distance the whole second Half. They made a quick comeback right before the half. Overall, Noah is a boss and I think we will be a team others don't want to play. So athletic it's scary

What a difference a few days and watching game tape can do for this team. They're improving by the day. Defensively, I think the team did a good job. My concern is hitting free throws. The way the game is being called, players will be on the line a lot. Stony Brook shot very well from the line and was able to stay close. We, on the other hand, shot poorly from the FT line and that allowed SB to stay with us. If we shoot FT 70-75% instead of 50% or less then we would have dominated the opponent. I just think we've got to shoot better than 50% from the stripe if we're going to put teams away.

Yep, there are a lot of things we did good.  Enough to feel good about, but enough to not feel overconfident.  These kids will win games they shouldn't and lose games they shouldn't.

Very nice game from Noah I thought this could be a possible trap game Stony Brook is a good ball club. Ended up leaving at half usher pissed me off wouldn't let me sit in the half empty student section. Caught the rest on BTN.

Agree with you Jaybob. Improvement is evident from game to game. I'm really enjoying watching the team develop. Now about those free throws, they can correct this! The way they play and they way the hand check rule is being called, they will be going to the FT line a lot. Converting those attempts into points will win games. Extra time in Cook Hall can bump up that FT stat line. I want to see them step up to the line with confidence. Make it happen, boys.
