Adding a few freshman guards isn’t going to fix it, if they actually come. I’d say the team decided to have anyone that is staying to post in desperation. I’m tired of the nil money excuse. She bragged for years she supposedly didn’t need it. Nobody in this forum is going to actually know what they have. Maybe caffey just wanted to go win? Which team one player away from the Final Four is going to splash $500,000 on Caffey? Quote
ronzo4IU Posted April 1 Posted April 1 This portal season will either make or break Teri and her tenure here imo. It could go either way. I hope for once she knocks it out of the park. mickey one 1 Quote

Ciezki, Scalia, Patberg, Wise, Striplin, Parrish, and Cardano-Hillary all portal additions over last half dozen seasons. Before this season, Moren always got 1-2 impact players per year there. Its easy to be influenced by last year, but reality is we just need to get back to how portal success was in 2024 and prior and program will be fine. J34 and HoosierHoopster 2 Quote
TTT Posted April 1 Posted April 1 Maybe, Caffey gets done xaswwyfar and shows up in a running it back photo. Quote

From my view of their season, and I watched a few of their games, very exposed and predictable by the last half of the year, I had guessed the mass exodus began with the quality players leaving that didn’t want to play with her. And she waited to transfer until they didn’t have a team anymore. Am I wrong or is that how you all view it? Quote
Class of '66 Old Fart Posted April 3 Author Posted April 3 Petra Bozan (6-3 SO forward/center, Split, Croatia) will be entering her name into the portal, out of Nebraska WBB —2025-26: 32 GP (19 starts), 14.8 MPG, 6.6 PPG, 3.4 RPG HoosierHoopster and mamasa 2 Quote
Class of '66 Old Fart Posted April 3 Author Posted April 3 It's from the internet so take it FWIW. Iowa State women reportedly met with Jamie Pollard, Iowa State's AD and he basically said that they're cutting their NIL because they're not a revenue sport and they need more money for football and men's basketball because they drive the wagon. Thus the number of IA St women portaling. Unless something is done to stop the lunacy this could well become a thing in women's bball. Quote
TTT Posted April 3 Posted April 3 Lunacy is a solid description. It’s actually messing up minds of young ladies. It needs to be applied to guys NIL as well. Of course what is GREED to do? Quote
