No way, really? I mean, the every program part. I already figured the guy wasn't a player because look at him!

But, I refuse to believe OSU has some dude applying new decals to new helmets a couple hours before each game or each playoff game or whatever the timeline is supposed to be. Yeah, each position group has their own helmet type. Each player's helmets are also custom fit to their head. I don't see why those facts would be expected to lead to "applying stickers a few hours before the game."

OSU is different because of their helmet design, but overall yes. Just look at any equipment team’s IG page. You’ll find a helmet building video from the day of or day before on every single one.

Again, I just wish our decals used something stronger than Elmers school glue. Get off your @$$ and do something addidas (or whomever is to blame here).

Well, I looked at a few thousand getty images instead because I had that open and don't know any equipment team's IG page. Nice pictures of the whole process of slapping those stickers on before the championship, no pictures of other teams doing the same. Some of touching up paint eg:

The C Bears logo flew off of Kyle Monangai's Bears helmet after a hard hit this season so it happens in the NFL too.

Every FBS school has an average of 5-6 equipment managers on staff. Some schools might have less, some schools might have more. It depends on the budget of said school. 

When I played back in my salad days, the equipment manager was my "best friend"! LOL! My "best buddy", was responsible for all of my equipment and yes, even "re-striped" my helmet when needed.

Not sure if we re-stipe and apply them before games or not, I just don't recall seeing this happen in the past.  This year it seemed like every game there where letters coming off so it leads to believe something has changed.

We spent tons more money on coaches and players... there wasn't much left for equipment. :D

Honestly, it probably has a lot to do with the helmet. I've noticed decals are coming off more often at every level.
