State, Iowa and Mississippi State. … Colvin, who averages 30.7 points, 7.8 rebounds and 4.9 assists per game, recently broke Madi Symons’ career program scoring record (1,461 points) in Game 2 of the district championship series, scoring a school-record 44 points. Colvin heads into state with 1,465 career points.  Colvin was a freshman when Coeur d’Alene last won a state title in 2024, the program’s 11th championship.

Last night, Colvin and teammates (22-2) held on for a 61-59 win to advance to this evening's state semifinal 6A game.  Colvin finished with 35 points and now has exactly 1,500 career points. She also added 10 rebounds.  She drew a total of 13 fouls; 8 in the 4th Q when she made 11-15 FTs.

Idaho seeds its state tournament and yesterday #3 seed Coeur d'Alene was manhandled by #1 seed Eagle 76-47.  In the 5th game of the season these 2 teams met and Eagle won that game by 19 pts.  Several keys in yesterdays loss.  A 12 ppg player for Eagle couldn't miss and scored 33 hitting 14 FG.  Eagle dominated the boards with 43 total rebounds that included 15 offensive and second chance opportunities.  Colvin had no offensive help scoring 21 of CaD's 47.  They were down 18 at the half and to start the 3rd it looked like she was just going to take the game over but it didn't work.  She started making wild drives to the basket hoping for foul calls that never came.  Midway through the 3rd she went down with an ankle injury and didn't return until the start of the 4th but it didn't matter as the game was effectively over.  Her final game of the season is today when CaD plays #4 seed in the 3rd place game.  Going to be interesting to see if this is a player we really pursue or we made the offer and that's about as far as her recruitment goes.

Colvin was unable to play in the 3rd place game due to a badly sprained ankle and was in a walking boot.

Heck of a recruiting W — she looks like a terrific offensive piece. And on the back of the loaded 2026 class her and Finley are continuing high level class building. Great to see

Once again 'highest ranked recruit in program history directly out of high school per ESPNW' at 24 (beating Nyemchek by one spot) for FOURTH time since Colsten Thompson got here. In order since he's been here its Makalusky (35), Gigi (29), Addy (25), Colvin (24).

We’ve lacked in athleticism in past teams. Shooting, passing and unselfishness made up for it until it didn’t.  Colvin will help us in the athleticism department where Illinois has strived and recently Michigan too.

Great news for IU Ladies and excellent recruiting momentum.  Important that NIL matches momentum to stabilize and keep this roster in tact for their full careers and add to as needed.
