With two games remaining the redshirt conversation is coming into view with few decisions remaining for the staff.  The PSU game was Garrett Reese's fifth game, burning his redshirt, while Marek and PJ Nelson did not see any time on the field, meaning their redshirt will be used for the '25 campaign. The only remaining players in question of redshirting this season are Chandler, Wilkin, and Baldwin Jr, each at 3 game appearances.  One additional note, any post-season game action will not count towards the redshirt 4 game rule.

Group I - Have Exceeded the > 4 game threshold

Sr. - Sarratt, Brady, Staes, Wyatt, Daley, Fisher, McCarthy

Jr. - Ponds, Ferrell

So.- Becker, Nduckwe, Landino, Hardy

Fr. - Bond, Jaylen Bell, Garrett Reese

Group II - Played 3-4 Games (# Games Played)

Fr. - Chandler (3 gm), Wilkin (3 gm),  Baldwin Jr. (3 gm)

Group III - Will Redshirt for the '25 Season (Played 0-2 Games)

Sr. - Tyler Morris (Inj)

Fr.  - Jacob Bell, Cuono, Kendrick, Thiry, Barker, Parker, Calhoun, Burrus Jr., Abram, Hall, Garcia, Amari Kamari, Zacharey Smith, Seaonta Stewart, Marek, PJ Nelson

Going into the Bucket Game, there are only two redshirt decisions remaining for the '25 season - WR Chandler and DB Baldwin Jr. with each player sitting at 4 games.  OL Wilkin didn't see the field on Saturday against Wisky and will RS for the season.

Great question @DChoosier from everything I've read, post-season games (conference championships, bowls, CFP, etc.) do NOT count towards RS eligibility.  Sooo a guy like Baldwin Jr could sit out the Bucket and play the rest of the year while maintaining his RS.

S D’Montae Tims is a new name, makes sense if Sieg is leaning to Notre Dame

I wanted Sieg but Tims has a pretty good offer list. 247 shows Ole Miss, Missouri, MSU, Iowa, Georgia Tech, Georgia and others. Current Colorado commit.

Here's a fixed link

That’s good news.

Baldwin is exactly why I asked the question.

IUFB schedule remaining:

11/21 BYE

11/28 @ Purdue

12/06 B1G Championship

12/13 OFF WEEK

12/20 BYE

12/31 or 01/01 Quarter Finals

12 days of rest before Purdue

24 days rest before CFP

For a team with so many nagging injuries, getting the Top 4 seed is critical. Evans, Kamara, Waffle House, Fischer, Benson all will benefit. Anybody have an idea if Wyatt is a possibility to come back? A healthy Hoosiers with 3 weeks of preparation is daunting for whoever we play

Anyone have insight on the drew Evans injury and expected return?

A couple of weeks ago Cig said he was a few weeks away. Hopefully "a few" - ("a couple" + a bye week) = ready to go.

Yes, a couple of weeks ago Cig said Evans was a few weeks away.

However, a week later, at this weeks presser Cig once again said that Evans is still a few weeks away.
Based on Cig’s comments I’ll be very surprised if we see Evans play against PU.

Would actually prefer him not too. Get the young guys more game reps and of course have him be 100% throughout post-season. Same with Waffle House
