Anyone else think Illinois falling so far in the polls was another subtle jab at IU football? You think Illinois drops that far if OSU, PSU or Oregon beats them that badly?

Just the opposite. I am surprised that a team that lost 63-10 and has no good wins is still ranked.

I'm not a big ratings system guy but I still like to see what the multiple algorithms are outputting. Massey Ratings does a composite and after week 4 here's the top 10.

  1. O$U
  2. IUFB
  3. Oregon
  4. Ole Miss
  5. UGA
  6. Canes
  7. Sooners
  8. LSU
  9. PSU
  10. Aggies

That EA Sports College Football 26 Freshman level of difficulty style game against Illinois really did a number to some of these computer calculations.

IU will play North Texas on Sept. 5, 2026 in Bloomington, replaces non-conference game against Colorado State, it was CSU that sought to get out of the contract and they agreed to pay IU $100,000

Just went to do some research on how UNT is doing this year and, my GOD, we are officially in Bizarro World.

(And, for the record, UNT is pretty damn solid this year and are led by Patrick Mahomes' Texas Tech OC)

A piece of game used football? Was never a card collector, is that a thing?

What price are they willing to pay to avoid embarrassment? $100,000, it appears.

Still don’t understand what the NCAA’s argument against Moore is after granting eligibility to a kid like Pavia. What’s different?

They're inconsistent pr**ks?

I really don't know. It seems like this should be an easy win for Moore.

I don't think they have one, hence the NCAA attorney trying to get the suit thrown out on the grounds of being filed in an irrelevant state/jurisdiction.

(I know nothing about law)

There was a recess and then a further delay in getting a good connection as Moore is providing virtual testimony.

Judge Dale Tillery denies NCAA's motion to dismiss, doesn't outline any reasons, but it was clear from his extended back-and-forth with NCAA's lawyer that he ultimately felt the organization's conduct impacted Moore and other JUCO athletes in Texas

Louis Moore testifies he's received $330,000 from Indiana in NIL payments for this season, says he hasn't discussed amounts of NIL deals with teammates, said "that's not allowed"
